Can anyone explain to me how JWH’s and Staggs copped the same grading for their dangerous contact please? They are worlds apart imo.

Loading has no bearing on the initial charge either, only the punishment,

      Collins
      B. Smith
      Baker
      Butcher
      Butcher
      Radley

      S. Smith
      May
      Wong
      Crighton

If Whyte comes out of today’s NRL Cup game and plays well I’d like to see him get a run. I rate him ahead of Egan and Crighton.

Look what this place has become. Frankly, you don't deserve to have had Jared play for the team you "support". All the blood he's spilled for you, and the results he's gotten for you? You don't deserve those either. He plays how he plays, and sails close to the wind. You might have worked that out by now. These things happen sometimes with Jared. Overall, his incredible contribution has served us very, very, very well. The greatest prop of the NRL era. I reckon he's probably be disappointed with last night. Not the win of course (unlike some of you), but that 30 seconds where things went a bit wrong. 99% of the time though, things go better with Jared than they do with any other prop who's played the game.

Show some respect. He's earned it.

I'm with you here Inflictor. As crazy as JWHs penalty is, we have more backup there.

Souths main danger is usually their left hand rush off b2b sets and quick play the balls, Walker linking the fb and centre to release Johnston. Our right centre needs to be switched to that and play his role in the line.

Robbo has a few options incl if Joey plays of course. He did test run Allan there on the weekend so it could depend if he ticked the right boxes or not.

I love JWH and his aggression. I also agree that he is one of the best props of the NRL era but that was plain old dumb yesterday. He just had to keep his nose clean for 20mins when the game was already over so he could help end Souths season whilst notching up his 300th next week.

No one on here would disagree with most of what you have said.

We are, however, allowed to vent our frustrations on stupid actions that may stop us from playing finals footy.

It was dumb. Coach knows it, we know it, and as of the time the charges dropped he knows it as well.

JWH has probably been our most important player since Freddy, but well past his best now and still a hothead. It is time to retire.

Yes, and there was no need, we had the game won.
                  Absolutely ridiculous tackles.
He just hasn't been able to overcome the 'brain snaps'.
We're trying to make the finals and he goes and does that.

We probably wouldn't be able to win the comp, but it would've been nice to have our best team available to play Souths.
Oh well, we'll just have to choose another forward to replace him.

JWH would be the first one to put his hand up and agree he was an idiot for what he did that late in the game, an impossible losing position and our most important game of the season next week.

As if any of us don't love the big fella.

No great loss. Not a team player anymore, makes little difference to our team. Should retire as he’s got nonsense of priorities or team play but just functions on aggro. GLAD he’s not playing against souths otherwise we would end up in a brawl with 3-4 players sent off. Hopefully without him in the team we can play some good footy.

Unpopular opinion but Baker, Collins and May have been outperforming him in the last month.

It is immature play from an older player and he has let the team down. It was complexly unnecessary and we should not have resigned him as he has always had too many penalties in him.

Let’s not worry, he was guaranteed to get sent off and suspended next week

now we can play with 13 on the field
