Three simple things to turn this diabolical football club around:

1. One Jersey
Piss off every other jersey except for the blue one.

As for the NRL requirement for an alternative strip, screw the NRL and pay the fine week in, week out.

That ANZAC day aqua camo travesty would be wiped from history. And our summer whites have had their day too. Bin them.

I'd also be up for a return to cotton instead of that neoprene sheet but I'm prepared to negotiate on this point.

2. Red Coq
We lose our idiot Opera House headed logo and return to the simple red coq. It's French and better than anything else in Australian sport.

3. Easts
Piss off the Sydney nonsense. It's not Super League anymore. We're not trying to pretend we're bigger than we are. We're the Eastern Suburbs District Rugby League Football Club. We're fcuking Easts FFS. 'Sydney Roosters'. Pathetic. Makes me sick.

You forgot about pissing Newtown off and reinstating an Eastern Suburbs reserve grade team.

If we are leading the comp we wear the yellow jersey.

Green jersey reserved for lower grades.

Bringing back a round clock face that stops with 5 mins to go would help get us that much closer to a winning culture than the current digitial time piece ?

Actually the away jersey thing has always annoyed me. I have no problem with an 'alternate' jersey just in case there is a clash with the opposition's jersey (it makes sense to have it), but it should only be worn when their is a colour/design clash, not worn everytime you play away. We should be wearing the traditional blue jersey everytime we play.

As for the other points, I prefer Easts, but can live with Sydney Roosters.
I prefer the old rooster standing on the ball emblem, again can live with the current Opera House head.

Agree on the strip too - home jersey on all occaisions except when we're away and there is a clash.

Emblem - the old Rooster without doubt. This current one is an atrocity....actually the 2007/08 100 year emblem was my favorite. Had the right Rooster with the red, white and blue V in the bacground.

And without a doubt we should revert to Easts.

Amongst my Roosters friends, we refer to us as Easts. Down here for the AFL people, I have to speak slowly and explain my team is 'Sydney' e.g. I went to the Gold Coast v Sydney game at Easter. If I mention Roosters, they think I'm referring to the VFL team, the Ballarat Roosters.
The only jersey I love and wear is the retro one. Like George Constanza, I prefer cotton. I like the light blue on Anzac Day because it reminds us of how tough times were during World War II i.e navy blue dye was reserved for uniforms only. I don't mind the white one during hot days and I like the heritage strip only during heritage round. As for emblems, I like the old one Hawkeye mentioned too.
