On NRL360 tonight it was mentioned that JWH will not be selected for NZ squad for the Pacific Test series so he won't be able to use those games to offset his suspension.

Well Buzz said Madge said the complete opposite.

Why would he select someone that will be unavailable. The fact that he is unavailable ways on his decision to select him.
‘JWH gets screwed and misses probably his last chance to represent his country and participate in final footy because of a fraction of a second late shot.
‘Yet deliberate shots to the head of a defenceless player on the ground gets nothing.
I understand the fine system but the jump from getting a fine to 7 weeks is BS

The problem with the fine system is it discourages teams from challenging fines, because if you challenged and lose then you miss games. So they all add up and you get smashed for finals.

Great point. Get rid of it I reckon. It may also sink in quicker to the players. JWH may have finally learnt his lesson earlier in the year and therefore be available now.

speaking of Jarred Whatta - Hardarse...it was also mentioned on 360 about the viking nibbler who is now vermin (whatever his f**king name is) , of course Tallis stuck up for the knob BUT Braith said about the non sendoff or sin binning "what if that was JWH or Victor?" wowza, even 360 is sticking up for the chooks , now we got 47 injuries and the drizzle on the weekend

If JWH hasn't learned any lessons by now, I doubt he ever will. I love the guy, but that was about the most brain dead passage of play from him ever

Hard to disagree but I think it hurts players more to sit out games than pay a fine. They are all loaded, so monetary penalties aren’t having the intended effect.
