Hutchison has proven to be below first grade standard in every position.
The one position where he can FILL IN is halfback,
but only to cover for an injury to the regular half and the regular 14.
He is not a 14 so realistically offers no value.
he's 28, turns 29 in April next year so offers no upside.
Maybe that's why he is on $180K.

As a squad player in our top 30, I say yes.
    Cheap, versatile and dependable.
As a starting 17 player .........no.

He would be a 4th string half or 3rd string 14 behind Walker, Smith and Watson.
We would be better off investing the money in someone else.

Glad you mention that because Hutch should not be considered as an option to fill a hole in the centres or hooker.
I think stubborn mule TRobbo has reluctantly accepted this.

I assume the club will be very happy how May and Whyte have developed this year and have Leniu on the way.

Thompson’s nickname should be sick note . Offer May the same money , he has the potential and will cement a top 17 position in 2024

I personally don’t rate Thompson but if he stays in Australia I bet he comes to the Chooks.

He's pretty decent but injuries are the real worry. Bakers leaving but don't know if that frees up much and maybe need to offload some others I guess to snag him and still risky.

Just no. Terrible buy from the bulldogs to pay him that ridiculous money, has done nothing and he's not up to NRL standard. Now he's looking for another taker at a lower price? Wests Tigers type signing.
