I was just watching 100% Footy & Danny Weilder was talking about Luke Thompson wanting to play for the Chooks, Gus replied "yeah they can fit him in they can fit every one in".
Connor Watson was mentioned & Weilder said the Chooks have resigned him which would mean the Hutch would probably leave & that the Dogs are interested in him.

I thought it was Hasler coaching the GC next year.

Yes, my bad. Apologies. I do think Hasler will fail at GC though. He is a Manly man despite his Penrith roots.

I wanted Flanagan first dibs. Too late now.

If we bail out tomorrow and start as poorly again under Robbo next year, happy for Holbrook to take the reins.

            Coach Robinson

I have 100% confidence in Coach Robinson, his staff, and the playing group in taking the Roosters back to the Top - Same 100% confidence I have in Manager Brian Snitker, his staff, and the playing roster at the Atlanta Braves.

The Roosters need some luck on the injury front and to have the bulk of the squad available for most games. You will then have competition for spots in the 17 each week.

People bang on about why he put this player in this position etc etc but as above injuries including form forces decisions.

Suaalii at centre was not a mistake, as he has played centre before, especially when you consider other options like Billy Smith, Paul Momirovski, who were unavailable, and Corey Allan, who played only three NRL games in 2022.

Jaxon Paulo started off fairly well on the wing, even getting some praise for his efforts on here at times.

Sam Walker's demotion was going to be short-term, and moving Manu to 5/8 was not a poor decision either based on other games when he played there.- The problem was that Manu, like a raft of other players, was not in great form.

Coach Robinson's mistake was not playing the Hutchinator at 7 when Sam Walker's injury prevented his return to the NRL.

            Sam Walker

Sam Walker has things to work on in his game, as I have mentioned many times before, which is not being harsh on him at all. - Structure , Game Management . Kicking game, and D, as he will always be targeted.

Players they say take a minimum of 100 NRL games before they become an NRL player - like serving a 4 year apprenticeship

It doesn't mean they have the complete game, though, as it could take longer to hone their craft depending on what role and position they play.

Sam Walker has played only 53 games in the NRL, so he is far from the finished product.

Sam Walker needs to keep working hard on his game in the upcoming pre-season and work through the combination issues with Keary and the coaching staff.
