Yea I agree with you on this point, it's becoming obvious that opposition forwards can get at him by calling him washed up or over the hill and he snaps which only hurts us.
Radley can be baited just as easily as Milne showed last year in the semi. His dad told me that he did it deliberately because he knew Victor would fall for it and lose his cool.
The nrl will build up the fued all week to sell tickets and both teams will bash each other with the winner then probably being cannon fodder for the knights the following week.
I hope we haven't overpaid for Jared next year because his back and hammy issues aren't going to get any better and with the addition of Leinu who came here to start he should be looked at as a bench prop who can give us 20 to 25 minutes a game.

I wish this were true but sadly he averages the most metres per game of any forward in our squad this year. He also has some very strong leadership qualities that will be missed.

I look forward to his absence giving some space to Collins & Butcher to step up and lead this pack but I worry about the quality of the options in our prop rotation.

Some have short memories. If Jarred didn't come off the bench and play his role in Round 3 we would have lost to Souths that day.

I would think starting props would rack up the most metres for forwards in games and since him and Lindsay have been for the majority of the games it should be one of them two and probably a bit surprised it's not Lindsay to be honest.
The OP was questioning whether Jared could keep his cool in a what will be an adrenalin fueled game against the bunnies when emotions will be running high and if he couldn't do it 18 up against the spooners with the game in hand I have my doubts too.

we'd be better off with him but without him we have less risk of beind down a man for 10 mins during games

What about the ' crisis ' meeting after Sin Bin Sunday........................

I am a huge JWH fan like most. What he did was pointless. He should of got 2 to 3 weeks for the Api tackle. End of story. There was no head butt.

              Anyway, let's smash the wabbits.

Someone find the % of games won with Jared in the team compared to % of games won without him. That will tell the truth

Honestly all the bullshiit carry on about a Roosters legend is sickening.
I think we can win without JWH, but the 7 week suspension is an absolute joke.
And the ones piling on the bandwaggon of bagging JWH really have no fukking clue what they are on about.
Good points I reckon Norfolk. Esp your first point. Someone before suggested Souths would in fact prefer it if Jared WAS playing. Good lord. You reckon opposing prop Shaq Mitchell would prefer it if Jared WAS playing? Not a chance.

JWH is not being asked to perform surgery or fly a plane. His skill set is basic.

He's asked & paid to be a mature experienced inspirational forward leader for younger.players to follow & to rip into other forward packs to give us a shot at winning.

A Rooster legend who should put the team first instead of brain snaps.

Most important game to date is on Friday & he will be watching from the stands.

My God. There are a 100x more people who can fly a plane than there are people who can play in the front row and be the main man for his team in the NRL like Jared has for 15 years. Which one's harder again bro?

                        "His skill set is basic"

It's not a video game bro.

                          You actually serious?

Catch a ball, run hard & tackle.

Yeah he's physically tough but he's not Einstein FFS

Pretty basic job bro. Ohhh & how about he try stay on the field more like other props can.

How about he take you up for a plane flight if you think he's so amazing.

never thought I would consider this but in recent seasons having both he and Radley on the field together is a ticking time bomb, they are targeted by the opposition and easily baited into stupidity, the pair of them are targeted by official every bloody game, every tackle the only 2 names the ref screams out are Jared and Victor. Together they give away countless penalties and 6 agains.

the other important aspect is the passion they play with boils over to insanity which leads to the inevitable brain snap, they are baited into it everytime and fall for it everytime, Souffs have pulled our pants down over and over again because our emotions get the better of our players and they turn to jelly at the first sign of adversity, we haven’t the calming heads of a Cronk, Cords, Mini, Friend, and it has shown. We are vulnerable under pressure.

still love the bloke but we are better off with cooler heads
what I can’t understand is why the coach didn’t get Hargreaves and or Radley off when the game was won or is there signs in both their game that they are about to do something stupid if so get them off B4 problems The Captain on the day should also see these signs and do something

He screwed up but now you want to belittle his position and status as a great prop? Come on man this guy has won three premierships with us. A legend and champion. He is a rare breed and not someone with a basic skill set as you describe.
