That would be Robbos fault too, right Ray?

Toups is now out. Injured at training. No way we can avoid a whitewash. We just don’t have the players to match them. JWH, Manu and Toups out. Season over.

Unfortunately it’s hard to disagree. Losing one of them was making it hard, all 3 and we are facing a tough uphill battle.

This is true. I believe the Dragons used to be the dragon slayers at some point (Google can't verify but a friend told me this back in 2009-10 when I hated them and kept telling him their name was stupid). But yes... odd names.

So awesome. After all that defense on our line we just owned them, ended their season not ours and did the mighty roosters very proud. I didn’t think without those 3 guys we could get the job done but the entire team were full of mongrel and kept turning them away. Incredible and unbelievable but very unexpected.

It's a lovely day today! The sun is out. I seem to have a bit of a spring to my step. Can't quite put my finger on it. I also saw a dishevelled-looking Rabbitohs supporter sitting on the curb with his feet into the cycle path in Bondi Junction this morning (had to swerve to miss him). He seemed upset about something.

Now, go Panthers! Don't let us down now!

And the Bondi Wall turned up and turned it on repelling wave after wave of relentless attack. Just frustrated the hell out of them. Each and every player turned up 150%. The difference? We dealt with the pressure better than them. We were intent and got stuck into them with venom. They were panicky and confused how to break our defences. What an absolute classic of a game. As someone so rightfully noted - if we make the finals other teams will be looking over their shoulders. But what an incredible show of resilience by our team. So, so, so, so proud.

It’s funny you know. Whenever we settle down and concentrate on playing footy we beat souths. But when we get drawn into brawling and fighting they tend to win. Glad JWH wasn’t out there. They would have baited him and thrown the entire team off their game and we would likely have lost.

They farked up not playing that grub Milne. The only chance they had of beating us was being grubby and getting under our skin. This should've been Jai Arrows role.

I think they treated the match as a finals game and couldn’t afford to risk a grubby game because they knew we had strike power all over the park and feared it or respected it greatly. So they took us on in the forwards where Collins and Co killed them. May and Co just turned up with freakin vengeance and killer instinct and they just couldn’t find an answer. They never figured the Bondi Wall would turn up with Jarrod gone. They could have won if they focused on offloads not allowing us to put their man down but we shut them down very quickly. It is the best defensive game I have seen in many years. So, so proud.
