Victor had been immense so far. Running hard with purpose and dragging 2-3 souffs players with every hit up. Looks very focussed and strong.

Deserved lead, think we've been the better team helped by their errors too. Thats partly with us holding a good defensive shape thats putting on pressure. Would've loved Aussie Joe to nail those kicks. Pressure I guess.

We are definitely playing a better brand of footy than mid year. Robbo with the Melb Cup prep?

The only thing we need to do is keep our cool. If the ref loses his, we have to stay strong and focussed.

I feel as though the better side is behind on the scoreboard, which is great as it means we can play not to our potential and still beat them.
I feel like we have more improvement possible in our second half than they do, and also think our smaller fellas should really come into the game at the death.

I like how on Fox the first time JS got the ball, it had to be mentioned he was at Souffs before us.

Then when both Butcher bros. get on the ball, first thing mentioned they Malabar/Souffs juniors (despite them being in our system for close to a decade now).

Great kick chase from Pauga changed the momentum and he got the try after we built pressure. Let's keep the pressure on early in the 2nd half losing Taafe has thrown out their left edge a bit. Forwards have been strong, hopefully Teddy and Cheese can find some holes around the ruck as fatigue sets in
