Every forward played their guys out last night.

Even Gus albeit limited minutes dug in and played well. I’ve been critical of him but he showed some class. Again, just needs to do it week in week out. Not just the odd game.

Signed until end of 2024. Logical to extend it.

May has been huge and Baker is a BIG loss next season. Like all front rowers they don’t hit consistency until mid twenties and peak in late twenties. The drongos have got a good one from our development system. All because we resigned JWH imo.

I'd like to see Taylan May here in 2025

Not having a crack but from the discussion earlier this week I think that’s why coaches back players who have been there and done it before. That try saver on Cam Murray was representative of a rep level player.

Gus got a good shot on someone early and his eyes lit up. I got the impression that he enjoyed the adrenalin rushing through his veins and it may have sparked something. If we can make the finals and everyone performs I truly believe that anything is possible. It feels like the stars are aligning!

May was outstanding really denting the line and along with Whyte is the reason I don't want a bar of Luke Thompson. They are both bigger and better than him with far more upside.

I've had a lot of man love for T-May since his first hit up in FG where just ploughed through the defence, and thought his potential was limitless - big, strong, good leg drive, selective off-load and really good in defence. I was and still am hoping the Roosters sign him long term to partner Lindsay in the front row.

After reading the article that someone kindly posted about him yesterday, it gave a real insight into him as a person. Despite being a man mountain, you can see he is naturally shy and reserved. There was a really nice moment after the game last night where a few of the guys were in a circle having a talk and a laugh, and Terrell was just sought of loitering out the back. It was almost like he was thinking "I'm not sure I deserve to be in the group". But then Fletcher Baker turned around and saw him, opened up the circle and put an arm around him and started talking to him (probably told him how immense he played during the game), and you could just see him light up and relax and join in with the rest of the group.

Our team has had a tough year and really struggled at times, but they really do look a close, tight knit team who care about each and every player.

On a seperate note I loved his new hair do last night, and was calling him "Chief Crazy Horse" to my wife every time he ran the ball up. He is definitely a keeper.!!!
