    Very true indeed..

He played last night with a bit of aggro. Seemed to react to some Vermin niggle on 3 or 4 occasions. ....... good to see !
I'm wondering if Sualli's goalkicking misses (I know they were wide out), but perhaps Trobbo may consider handing the duties back to Sam if we progress to the finals ?

Suaalii strikes me as the more sweeter kicker of the ball, I just wonder if nerves didn’t get the better of him last night. He was 16 out of his 17 prior kicks before last night.

          I would stick with him.

That could be the general consensus but he and the family were none too impressed about the manner in which it happened.

Put it this way, as a Manager of young people especially our gen Y, perseverance, patience and ongoing nurturing usually pays dividends. IMO he wasn't playing that bloody badly that he deserved to be dropped and for the world to know too....that's not kosher.

Like it or not, something was up early on in the season. We've taken the long route and mistakes were made along the way, but we just beat Souffs WITHOUT Manu, Toops and JWH.

Lessons were needed and blow-outs aside, that was one of the most comfortable, rewarding wins that I've seen against Souffs in recent years.

Get that people wanna be top-4 and that our team's good enough on paper. However coaching involves more than just naming a team. IMO it's a foolish comment to say that simply naming Walker at 7 all season and not trialling Sua'ali'i in the centres (where everybody assumed he'd flourish) woulda made us top-4. A LOT more work went into last night's result than that. Again, we won WITHOUT Manu, Toops and JWH. Lotsa guys were either reserve-grade or outta position! Walkers dominance came from playing more of a running game and KNOWING things like 'if their superstar right centre tackles me... I don't have to look left or have Toops out there... if I pivot in right then toss the ball out left then it's a try for all money'. IMO Robbo hooked him for good reason and he did some shyte last night that he wouldn't have if he played #7 all season without being hooked.

I’m just so happy to see him back and firing. The team as a whole started to fire before he got back, but his return has kicked the whole shebang up to the next level. The rest of the team now seem to be playing with something like the old confidence, and that’s what’s been missing. If we get into the finals, Sam’s unpredictability and spontaneity could unlock that confidence even more, and that may make the biggest difference. And that try of his last night was simply a thing of beauty.

Plenty wanted him gone for Ben Hunt which is crazzzzyyyy

It was the right call by Coach Robinson to relegate Sam Walker based on KPIs that have been posted previously.- It was a short-term decision, and of course, it wasn't envisaged that he would be injured.

To say he and his family were not too impressed is bunkum and was refuted by both the Walker Brothers.- They know as players themselves that players are dropped as they both were—part and parcel of the game.

                    It's not under 7's.

Coach Robinson's mistake in hindsight was not playing the Hutchinator at 7 when Sam Walker's return to the NRL was delayed.

Sam Walker has played only 54 NRL games, so he is still learning his own game and being an NRL player.- It is often said that a player has to play at least 100 NRL games to be an NRL player.

Of course, you still have to work hard on honing your skills in whatever position you play.

Sam Walker needs to keeping working on structure , game management , kicking game and D.

Coaches love structure, so you cannot get away from that, but it doesn't mean any add-lib footy is excluded. It's picking those moments.

As usual, I am backing the coaching staff and players 100% in whatever comp the Roosters play in (Central Coast or Sydney Roosters).

Hmmm i see King Salvo is speculating as per usual.
Once again you've proved how gullible you've become reading copius media articles. Of course the Walker bros are going to deny the obvious.
My contribution is based on fact.

I just hope the past doesn't come back to bite our club because home is calling!

                        Post the evidence then

I certainly don't read copious media articles or watch NRL shows like many on here do

I do watch MLB games (Live and on Demand) and pre-game and post game shows on MLB TV/ Bally Sports(Atlanta Braves) - 149.99 USD for the full season.

Do you pollute the Atlanta Braves fan forum as much as you do this one?
