My only concern with Sammy is his size and long kicking game. He needs to put on some more muscle and get more depth in his kicks. I know many critics used to bag Jonathan Thurston and say he was too small but look how he turned out.

He’ll be the Australian halfback for the next 7 years I would say unless he’s injured so Sammy will be at least 28 before given a crack.

It's not Cleary's game or role as an organiser to be flashy or on the highlight reels.

The Hutchinator showed what the value of an organising half is to a team in the recent four games he played as a half.

Allows other players to play their own game instead of trying to do too much or play a role they are not suited for. i.e Keary could play as a running 5/8 instead of trying to be an organising half, which he isn't.

Sam Walker was rather fortunate to have the Hutchinator at 5/8 when he first came into NRL in 2021.

The Hutchinator took on the organising role and majority of the general field kicking allowing Walker to play as a running half.
