I didn’t see Radley get caught up in any of the bullshit last week in the Tigers game.

He just let his shoulder do the talking with that great shot on Papali’i

I was going to say the same thing. He told SBW he probably passes too much so was more focused on just taking the hit ups this time. Also Johns explained that we’ve simplified our attack, whereas before the ball was going to the halves via Rads now it’s going directly to the halves meaning we’re not playing as sideways as we were earlier in the season.

Rads has an identity crisis, he's not sure if he wants to be the inflictor with huge hits, or if he wants to play like Yeo with cute little passing at the line. The game has changed and the inflictor days are over, and he can't ball play to save his life. He should model his game on Ricko, or Clyde, all heart, all effort, nothing fancy.

Kind of agree with that mate. I think the main reason for Vics lack of certainty in his play IS simply the 'game changing' factor. All of his input was built on an aggressive robust defensive style. His more confident attacking style leveraged off that. Including an effective passing game, think he's still got that in him.

Last night he just said stuff it. Keep the nose clean, play simple and intense and make sure I win the trick against the enemy.

I think the 7 week suspension and wrath JWH has copped externally (& more than likely internally) would’ve left a stamp on Rads to ensure he doesn’t do any dumb stuff.

Radley is a good ballplayer but that link role that he was playing early in the season was clogging up our backline and making us play too sideways. It also made it difficult for Teddy when run his sweep.

Victor’s ball playing role isn’t needed now that Walker’s back. We have two of the best ballplayers in the game either both sides of the ruck now so Victor can just focus on doing what he does best.

Victor can be a weapon in both attack and defence.
I think there was a disconnect between him and Walker early this year which contributed to Walker being dropped.
I think Victor tried to make up for that by being a distributor.
Victor has the skills to be a ball playing backrower, he just has to mature his game management skills.
I think trying to live up to the Inflictor tag has been detrimental to his overall game.
At near his best he could be the best lock in the game.
I hope the club is getting him on the right path mentally.
