Obviously like all here, just over the moon to eliminate and humiliate the hot dog smugglers. At this stage anything else is a bonus.

Looking at the replay, I'm happy to say we did get a few 50/50 calls in our favour. Klein still managed to show his bias with challenges, having way more looks than necessary to try and find a way to stiff us when it was obvious he had to give us the call. And in one where one of our passes clearly hit a souffs defender's hip and wasn't touched by us, he pretended he couldn't tell (although he let us keep the challenge).

Souffs' 2 tries came off phantom 6 again calls on our line. One was when the souffs player got up and planted the ball but balked, and didn't play it for a couple of seconds - this got them a six again for our defenders coming off the line "early" - are you really allowed to balk like that?

They got 6 set restarts. We received none.

This is on the nose - were Souffs really not offside or slowing the ruck a single time?

I thought Souffs could have been pinged a dozen times or more, particularly for crowding the ruck - they had their knees all over the play the ball, but instead of being pinged, the ref slowed us down and forced our guys to move back and play it (when we hadn't even walked forward off the mark).

Finally, the late tackle on Walker after scoring, although it didn't cause injury, could have injured him with Murray throwing his full weight on him on the ground with a bit of a swinging arm. It was clearly deliberately late as Walker had already scored, and should have been an 8 point try - I've seen our players penalized and even binned for late tackles no more forceful than this - why the leniency here?

The game managers never give us a break........................it's the main reason I'm against watching live, unless we're playing the Titans on a sunny afternoon.

The Cheese was deliberately slowing down the play which worked well against Souffs who were struggling to find any rhythm. It's a good tactic if you back your d!

What about our challenge for the Nat Butcher knock on. It was deemed inconclusive so we kept our challenge but Souths won the call.

To me, it was pretty obvious to me that Graham initiated contact before Butcher had a chance to even catch ball? Thought it was an easy penalty.

Did I see this wrong or was it just my rooster bias? Interested to hear how others saw it..

          Spot on - good observations.
1985: 1 try vs Parramatta, 1 try vs Manly, 1 try vs Wests, 2 tries vs Souffs
1986: 2 tries vs Illawarra, 1 try vs Balmain, 2 tries vs Norths.

They had more than a dozen forward passes which were let go, but our sole non forward pass was pinged.

Still, he had a good game in the first half, but in the second half he gave Souffs penaly after penalty and endless stream of 6A even though we were the dominant team.

I'm pretty sure we had 0 six again calls compared to close to 10 for them. Tells you all you need to know, the fix was on. As mentioned about south's constantly slowing down the ruck but nothing blown, even supporters for other teams and the commentators were blowing up. To overcome that is a massive achievement

2nd half was a really frustrating watch from an officiating stand point of view.

The Sam Walker penalty that we weren’t allowed to challenge because it happened after the play the ball was a very curious one. Why can’t we challenge a penalty that happened after the play the ball? And everyone knew exactly what Cody Walker was doing there, Adam Gee is experienced enough to know better in that situation.

It was a 6-1 penalty count from Gee in the 2nd half, the other penalty we earnt was from the bunker that we had to challenge for.

Also great cause for celebration over the retirement of Ben Cummins.

So happy to never again see this chimp faced, cheating oxygen thief stitch us up. I'll never forget him penalizing us out of the second half of the 2014 prelim, or penalizing Anasta for having his nose broken by a vermin thug, and binning him shortly after. So many other highlights. 2019 GF a great memory as he tried to stiff us with a bogus six again, was forced to reverse it by the pocket ref, and inadvertently was blamed by everyone for "helping us". No wonder he was said to have been suicidal afterwards.

Interesting to read his fan boy comments about Cameron Smith being the greatest and all that, and how Smith somehow knew if you weren't confident about a decision you'd made he would pressure you (with obvious results). Such a fawning comment about a player who although great, was also a grub and cheat of the highest order - maybe that's why Cummins was in love with him.

Yes Gee should have done better. Cummins is an idiot. That is one member of the proverbial SACK gone. 3 to go.

Other teams get the "bunches" of 6As when attacking the opposition's line.

They'll let us slog through our attacking set to the last tackle, which means they are saying that our opponents goaline D and linespeed is perfect.

Last night for the whole 80 minutes it seems.

Is it just me or did anyone else consider the tackle to be completed when Murray stripped the ball from Victor (I believe)
