I can’t see Suaalii who’s on $750k next season playing Reggies or Manu or Dom Young who Robbo entertained at his Eastern Suburbs home and promised him an opportunity to one day play centre

I think it'll be Billy Smith that misses out.

Young is not coming here to play ressies. I think he'll get first shot. I personally think we should get rid of JS a year early to avoid Billy Smith leaving but if that doesn't happen, I can't see us paying 700k to a 21 year old to play ressies.

The other 2 in the backline Joey M and Toops pick themselves.

We get injuries though and it will only be 1 season we have those 5 given JS is leaving so i think all 5 will play big roles next season.

If we are talking Rd1 though, assuming everyone is fit, itll be Toops, Young, Manu, JS. I specifically recall Robinson and Young saying he wanted to play centre and that being a big reason to come to Easts. Makes it even more likely that Billy misses out.

Billy Smith has more upside I reckon. He's been brilliant last few games and good from his first game back. Current form that kids not missing out.

Yeah I wasn't a fan but he has won me over . Powerful runner of the ball and great defense . Injury free he will be one of the best I think

Made Campbell Graham look like just an average footballer and made him look like a poor defender in his try. That's hard to do Graham is a quality centre both attack and defence.

I've been watching a few of his highlights and he is tall, well built, very very fast and probably a better finisher than I've seen in the NRL. He could surprise us too.

I am happy to debate on a rational level. I don’t think 5 players and 4 roles is a problem at all. As other posters have said, there are always injuries and form drops off.
Having said that you deserve to be called out because you are negative and you always whinge and literally hope things go bad for us. I am sick of the constant negativity from you and the other goon squad members like Ray steer and Carlos parra. But as soon as we win you all jump on the band wagon I.e. a hypocrites.
