The media have been talking us up overnight about being a "danger" to the top 4 sides if we make it.
If that was really the way Panthers saw it, you'd think they'd take it easy on the cows tonight. But hopefully they are way too arrogant for that, and really want to be minor premiers.

Should be an interesting game!
I don’t think the Panthers will throw the game or “take it easy” and give up the prestige of the minor premiership and disappoint their members and fans and want to go into the finals series with two loses in a row, just because they are afraid of playing us.

All depends as Penrith are in a position to choose which opponent week 1 of Finals suits them better - Warriors or Storm
The old Macintyre System for a example could be gamed
Friday - 4 vs 5
Saturday - 3 vs 6 then 2 vs 7
Sunday - 1 vs 8
Teams 1 and 2 knew the result of the other games, and if say their main rivals lost in the 4 vs. 5 and 3 vs. 6 games, they could "lose" their game and have those sides knocked out week 1–week 2. they would swap over: 1 would play 7 and 2 would play 8.
Do you really think the Panthers will throw the game or “take it easy” and give up the prestige of the minor premiership cause they are afraid of playing us?
That did cross my mind lol but I think the Roosters would be the furthest thing from Penrith's mind today.
