Damn! I thought the NRL had come to their senses and told Cronulla that they can't hold a final at that little park they call home.

So let's hope Knights beat the dragoons.
Let's hope they get bashed too.

It's safer in Newcastle than in Cronulla with a bunch of drunken 14 year old wax heads.

I think both have a soft underbelly and can easily be beaten. If Ponga is out for Newcastle, it is as good as won.
I'd rather play the Sharks. Do they get to play finals matches at their tiny home ground or do they have to be at a proper venue like Homebush, given they can't be at Allianz playing us? regardless, I'd prefer the Sharks. Funny that it's either Adam O'Brien or Fitzy.

And yes, he's "woke" too (meaning, as far as I can tell, he believes in things I don't like). I hear that he actually said something like "the NRL should be open and inclusive including of gay people" in the wake of the Manly rainbow jersey incident. How dare he! He should have been dismissed immediately.
Stupid boring argument, Tim Sheens won 4 premierships so the Tigpies should persist with him.

Coach Fitzgibbon was more responsible for 2018, 2019 than coach woke warts, even as an assistant.

NRL was already inclusive in accepting gay fans. They just wanna shove this BS down our throats. Divisive BS.

mate , we're in the 8, can't win it every year. there are 9 teams who would kill to be where we are.

yes it has been a "rocky road" in 2023, but tarmac is ahead maybe

Sorry lads, I tuned in at half time.

Think I might be the bad omen.

Good question. The scaffolding at Woolaware doesn't scream blockbuster finals game. I think they get a Week 1 semi there but all games after will be at Homebush assuming they are the "home" team.

I would be shocked if Cowboys can put 3 more tries on this Penrith side..

                      Think we are safe..

Interesting one...if we played either of them at Allianz we'd spank them.

The home ground advantage is important for the crowd factor and the officials.

Knights - would have a rabid, vocal home crowd and a media looking for a fairytale.

Sharks- its the curse of that bloody ground that Gus waxes lyrical about. I'd like to dodge it.

I think I'd prefer the Knights, such a one player dominant team. And we might just feed off that intense energy from their crowd, despite barracking against us.

I think you're right, they get the first final there regardless but never a week 2 or later final even if they are the home team.

Which when you think about it quite unfair, if they've earned the right to be the home team. And they end up having to, for example, play Souths at Allianz, they completely lose that home ground advantage.

                            They're in second gear.

Lets wait until this game is completed.

Fitzy was saying it might not be a bad thing to lose to the Raiders tomorrow
