  • When do we play?

Now that Penrith have locked up the MP and we are now confirmed as a finals team. My question is when will we play?

We either play the Knights or Sharks depending on how the knights go tonight.

I assume we play Saturday night?

if the Dragons pip the depleted Knights and the Raiders do the Sharks tomorrow ...I think we would play the Raiders. So at this stage anything is possible ?

I assume Friday Night would be Brisbane vs Storm and one of the Saturday games ( 2nd one) would be Penrith vs Warriors

1st Saturday game and Sunday game TBD as per below

Roosters could play either the Knights , Sharks or Raiders depending on results of Knights vs Dragons and Sharks vs Raiders games - Finish 7th or 8th

I reckon we will end up playing the sharks at their crappy ground.

Most likely we will play Cronulla at Shark Park on Sunday afternoon,
but if Canberra beat the Sharks
we will play Newcastle in newcastle on Saturday afternoon.
Either one is winable, but I'd rather play the Sharks.

I reckon the NRL will want to play Knights on the sunday arvo. They will love the full house at Newcastle on sunny sunday arvo footie with Ch9 blowing the smoke up the fairytale Knights asses ...it will be real vomit material !

I want to play the Raiders on Friday night just so when we beat them, I can listen to him whinge at the 1 minute presser and storm out

Brisbane v Melbourne Friday night 750pm.

Panthers v Warriors Saturday Night 750pm.

So it’s Saturday or Sunday arvo for us.

I know it depends on ground availabilities and a couple of other factors but lowest ranked home side usually plays the last game which would mean we play on the Sunday.

Why would the NRL play a semi between two Sydney teams at a 12,000 seat ground?

If the Sharks beat the Raiders the Roosters finish 7th and play the Sharks
If the Raiders beat the Sharks the Roosters finish 8th and play the Knights

Note that Raiders have beaten the Sharks the last 9 times they have played - Sharks last win vs Raiders was in 2018 at Shark Park

Seats? More like dirt and concrete.

sharks v raiders is hard to pick. raiders will want to win it to get a home game and sharks might prefer to play the raiders in the finals rather than us even if it means not playing at home
