Who is tour favourite Roosters player of all time?

My favourites have to be Freddy, Morley and Mini.

Would give anything to see Kevin Hastings and Artie play a game as I am a bit young to have seen them, but everything I read and hear from my Roosters tragic brother in law sounds special. Freddy is the reason I started supporting the Roosters, so I can't split those three. Luke Phillips I will always have man love for as well, even in a refs uniform. Ian Rubin solely for being the first Russian to play first grade (LOL). Then there's Morley, Ricko and Fitzy.

I remember a poll when he was playing with us, and the question was asked: if were down to your last $20, what would you spend it on? All the players pretty much said they'd punt it, but yer man said he'd spend it on bunch of flowers for his mssus. Gentleman.

And a freak on the field.

After him, I'd say Freddy, Phillips, Salvo, Wurth, Gaffey.

And so relexed his jaw would often dangle.
I saw Walker play for Randwick union when he was a prodigious 18 year old and it was hard not to believe in the myths surrounding the Ella brothers about telepathy and general aboriginal awesomeness.
The ARU nearly destroyed him.

Kevin Hastings first, second and third. After that Morley, Walker, Salvatori, Lam and Fittler. I was a little too young when Beetson, Fairfax, Coote and Mayes were at their prime.

Some other players who I liked but were underrated by many were, Protheroe, Simpkins, Marshall, Silva, Crocker, O'Reilly and Tobin.

Liked gary wurth,salvo and gary freeman(before he left us) but my all time fav player and always will be was freddy... had lots of man love for this bloke in our golden period of '96 to '04.

Mini... he's gone through so much and always given his best. He's also a Rooster for life although he could have made biiiig $$$ elsewhere IMO.

Fitzgibbon would be up there too.

Freddy and what he had to do to carry the club to greatness was simply huge. The other guys just bleed Red white and blue.

Was a big fan of Worth and even Mike Eden back then. But they were not on the same level as the other legends.
