Matty Sing - great player and just humbly went about his business - also one of the best overall defensive 3/4s I've ever seen
Freddy - because he was a genius on the footy field and a larrikan off it

Craig 'Salvo' Salvatori. I went through High School from 88-93, F*#k this was a lean time to say the least for Easts. Salvo was a standout, gave his all and had all the skills. Still my favourite player of all time by far. For some reason i loved those years we struggled, I remember watching us get a draw with Norths, lucky to be 5000 people at the SFS and we gave Easts a standing ovation for there effort!!

What a fantastic squad!! I like everyone of your likes and agree with your dislikes - except Bozo, he was just a great player.

Imagine that list today (all 36 of them), the salary cap would have to be about $29 million.
