Hutch has given his all every time he has stepped onto the field in a Roosters jersey. Hutch is a very good defensive player and has great determination and with an extra yard of pace he would cement a start in most first grade team.
I wish Hutch all the best and thank him for the service he has given The Roosters... especially considering the roles he has covered due to injuries over the past 3 seasons or so.

He's a fantastic player for the amount he's on. He covers halves positions very well, and is probably better than a few starting halves in the comp. He is also a serviceable hooker and probably fine at lock or second row.

He is probably one of the most unfairly targeted Roosters players I can remember.

With that all being said though, he is too good to be playing 3-4 first grade games a season, and if he stayed here I think that's what he'd be doing. Wish him all the best. He has been actually very pivotal for us over the last few years with all our injuries.

Lippy the Chooks do pretty good with developing players but it needs to be around at least 24 of your 30 man squad.

The secret to winning the comp is developing players not buying players.
Penrith, Melbourne & to a slightly lesser degree the Broncos have developed 95% of their players & are the 3 most successful clubs.
The Chooks have to try harder to develop players if they want to be a top 4 side.

In the last 12 years they have finished in the Top 4 three times and that is with the best junior base in the country. Haven't won anything since 2006. Do you think they would be where they are today without their Souffs developed halfback?

Penrith have gone well for the last 4 years but the 15 years prior they made the top 4 twice even with the 2nd best junior base in the country. Took a while but Yes they are successful now. But they have been developing players for decades without success.

The Storm and Roosters are the most successful clubs of the last 10 years and that is because we have been developing our players. Most not our juniors but we certainly develop them. I even think we developed Teddy a lot more that he would have had he still been at the Tigers.

Coach Robinson never said that the Hutchinator was better than Aubusson and was only likening the Hutchinator to Aubusson in terms of being able to play a range of positions.

In saying that who is the better half and 5-8 between the two of them, the Hutchinator is by some way too.

As dummy half and centre, there is not a lot between the two, and many on here would say neither should have played these positions at any time.
