I don't think we have received value for money in signing Angus Crichton so I won't be too upset if he were to leave that frees up salary cap money to re-sign promising young players like Same Walker, Billy Smith, Siua Wong who can also take the available bench spot on a full time basis and the club can potentially make an open market play at a big name signing when Jarred retires

Terribly inconsistent and on that salary, the expectations are that much greater I’m afraid.
Great bloke but we have the second row covered with some awesome talent coming through.

With Wong, Tupouniua and the Butcher brothers all priority picks for Robbo, maybe he saw the writing on the wall?
On his day, easily one the best and most well rounded forwards in the NRL. I'd like him to stay but if he goes, at least its to another code.
Not feeling good about seeing SST in another jersey next year.

Two sides of this one
love Gus and on his day he one of the best back rowers in the comp! And loves the roosters! However has not progressed and get inconsistent year on year so $750k is a lot for someone not there all year! Shows how much of the game is mental and not just physical!
Don’t mind either way but would presume he would have to take a pay cut to stay next
with butcher x 2, sitili, radley, wong, and Whyte all there in the back row we are not short and we need to re sign Wong and Whyte
would love Gus to get back to his best but since 2019 he has been in and out of form each year! In 2019-22 we played every Origen series but never played full 3 games as he was not in form and got in later on the series of started and dropped

For the quality he’s been playing over the last couple of years and the money he’s been paid, he can piss right off.
