Did I hear right that our own doctor ruled him out at halftime without any reports from the bunker and no clear incident?

If so, that’s a big call in a semi and probably the only club that would do something like that?

I assume he would be out next match against Melbourne?

Yeah what benefit does it give you? Woulda thought you'd just leave him off and say 'oh he had a bit of a niggle'. If anything for the tactical advantage of the opposition not knowing if he can return.

He was about the sharpest he's ever looked before he went off imo

I think the fact that our club trainer ruled him out without intervention from the bunker means that if he passes protocols during the week he can play against Melbourne

Interesting that he can get smacked across the head and nothing from any official when it happened.

In saying that, I reckon we got our fair share of calls go our way tonight.

I'm sure Souffs would do the same lol

It says a lot about the integrity of our club that we did that.

Player welfare first, at all times.

Maybe he has something in his contract that prevents him from playing on with any issues that might hinder his RU contract.

i know right izzy mun. We are the only club that would screw ourselves over like that.

But nine just reported he can play if he passes all protocols. Hope for our sake because he is on fire of late.

on a side note, who else was screaming at the tube in the first half for our halves to kick to his wing. Not once..

At least we know our clubs medical staff have integrity.

great to see we value our player welfare
