  • Is Manu okay

Guys I'm travelling and didn't see the name - will he play next week and what are the stats other injury concerns?

  • #2
Manu - no chance next week.
Suaalii - Category 3 symptoms... little bit unclear what this means for his chances next week. Supposedly doesn't fall under the 11 day protocol but he has had a concussion within the past 3 months and it's a 6-day turn around so not looking good..
Walker - Left ankle, minor injury will be fine for next week and played out the last 15minutes on it.

Brandon Smith said his own ankle has gone numb, and said he doesn’t know what that means

        Still no news on Toups.

Allen will replace Manu but who replaces JS?

What would the back 5 look like with Toops, Manu and Suaalii out?

Teddy, Pauga, Smith, Hutchison, Allen? I'd hate to see Hutch in the back 5, but have a feeling that might be what we'll see.

          Toia? Paulo?

I think with a healthy squad elsewhere, and against a slower backline maybe you could get away with it. But Hutch in the centres against Melbourne will be evisceration. I'm not sure what the other options are, though. Do you just play Wong there?

After a slow start and all the shit he’s copped. What a warrior. We don’t win that if he goes off when he genuinely looked in massive pain.

Thats because they strapped him tight.

Some of his runs from dummy half were enormous. and his defense was great.

During the presser they said it's the 2nd failed HIA in 3 months or something so he may not be able to play?

I dunno the rules but welfare's paramount here. Gonna assume he's gone.

My guess is smith to the wing, Wong in the centres.
