The Hutchinator will do the job, as he is well rested and raring to go.

    Back 5
    • Tedesco
    • Pauga
    • Billy Smith
    • Hutchinator
    • Allan

Momo is much better on the right.

That could quite possibly be the worst back 5 we have named since the early 90s.

How good is Pauga going? He’s been 7/10 the last two games

Honestly, no option is ideal but for me I'm taking the speciality centre with a grand final win under his belt over a five eighth/halfback that got absolutely carved up last time he played centre against the Storm. I will never forget that game where Coates scored three down Hutch's side and a kick went up in the air only for Hutch to completely miss it and have to run back only for the Storm to score. Put Momirovski and Allan there and you won't have the basic errors that you'd normally have with a half playing in the backline.

It isn't pretty but this should be our backline for this Friday:

            1. Tedesco
            2. Pauga
            3. Smith
            4. Momirovski
            5. Allan

                Has Momo been plying reserves?

Honestly I'd rather anyone ahead of Hutch.
                  Wong, Angus, Paulo,
                  Radley with Brown playing lock.
                  Momi,
                  I don't want Hutch in the 17.

Don't think so? Easts haven't played for a few weeks now and he wasn't in the squad beforehand.

Pretty sure he's injured but almost back.

IF ... Jaxson Paulo is not considered and Momirovski is still not fit could Robert Toia be brought in for this game to cover Manu with Allan on the left wing ?

Massive risk whichever way you look at it ... but do we play it safe or does Robbo run the gauntlet !?

PS: Not discounting Hutch but it's not a standard comp game against a low-ladder team where we can get away with using him.

Thanks ~ we surely couldn't use him - he's average at best and no games under his belt all year. Not an option.

That would be my back 5.

I agree with you mate, if Momo is fit he should come in.

Next best option for me hasn't been mentioned. Call on Mr Fixit....Nat Butch. He would do the job defensively on that edge, he's a tiger. Plus can scoot over a short distance compared to the other backrow transplant options. Has filled in at centre prev when we have been injury hit during games. Gotta look at both defence and attack when choosing the option.

Apparently not. It seems he's not allowed to play.

I'm so sick of this ridiculous concussion bullshit. The damage to the brain occurs AT THE TIME of the hit. The damage is done, there and then. Taking 11 days off does not magically wind back time to before the injury. Whether he plays next weekend or has the week off makes NO DIFFERENCE to the damage incurred.

Why do we put up with this nonsense?
