Whilst he's nowhere near origin, I would have him as the bench utility over reynolds (don't think either should be but they are talking up Reynolds in scum limited papers).

Can cover wing/centre/backrow. As opposed to Reynolds who can cover 5/8 and ??????

Reynolds can cover 5/8, halfback and hooker. Leilua can cover centre, wing, backrow. Completely different positions/jobs.

I really really really really wouldn't want Reynolds playing hooker or halfback even in the worst case origin situation.

Would have farah at hooker / carney at 5/8 / pearce at half / bird on bench

Carney / farah can cover half. Bird can cover 5/8. Need hooker cover I guess. I hate forwards playing in the centers / wing during origin injuries as well (eg beau Scott etc)

Out of those two Reynolds is more up to it but like to see Hayne if fit to get the bench spot but Reynolds is very similar to Foran and is ready to go.

If we had to pick a utility player I would pick neither reynolds or Leilua but Idris who is built for origin contests.

Reynolds has been great for the dogs he trys hard every game he got great heart and is a tuff player I think he will be the Dogs Foran and Des has turned this kid into a winner.

On the other hand what has Idris done to get selected? I would much rather Reynold that has a heart and give it his all and play with passion in the team rather than fat Idris cant get involved to save his life.

Reynolds sh*ts on Leilua from a great height going by this seasons form, no doubt Leilua has plenty of potential but other then the City V Country match he hasn't done much where as reynolds has been very very good in most matches for the dogs.

Neither should be even close to origin though.

Idris has only just come back from injury and hasnt proven too much this year but he is still a gamble I would be happy to take as a NSWelshman.
