He's been building over the past few weeks. With most of our backline gone, I reckon we're probably gonna have to find a way to win this game through the middle.

Hoping to see something heeec-tic, bruh!

what a load of BS, how the Storm are all fired up because he said their game v Broncos was "putrid". Oh Cameron Munster was upset at that and you could see it in his eye how enraged he was at that comment. the journo's were pushing that too ...meanwhile the more honest Storm players Jerome Hughes, Harry G reply "he said our performance was putrid ...yeah we were" ...such an absolute beat up !

Interesting view on 360 last night .... Brandon Smiith has been great the past month, but for the most part this year everyones's been critical of the Cheese's performance and the Roosters buying him. But if he puts in a big one friday night and leads the Roosters to an upset win .... that will justify his recruitment, and wipe out all the negativity & criticism of most of this season, and his recruitment in 2023 will be deemed a success !
I tend to agree, if he pulls out a MOM and helps us through to prelim v Riff, I think everyone will be happy to wipe out his lacklustre first 4 months & regard his first season as positive.

I think I read Munster had said something like 'oh he said that did he? Bwaahaha... yeah Cheese is a bit like me and just says the first thing that comes to his head so that's classic Cheese. I'm looking forward to playing against him. Naaah... hahaha... we're mates... zero hard feelings there'.

Love how they make it sound like some sort of a feud though :P

After the last game they were trying to make a story about Cheese not being serious as they grabbed a pic of him having a laugh with his old mates after the game. The media will do ANYTHING for a story! They can't decide whether he's too friendly with them or whether they all hate him. Truth is likely that they're all good mates off the field (so they're allowed to chat) and everybody knows he's a shyte stirrer. I personally love seeing how Cheese can very quickly flip between shyte stirrer and hectic cheese (i.e. serious threat on the field). Fark the media.

He played shite like the rest of the team.

It was his behaviour post match that upset the fans. The loss was literally like water off a ducks back meanwhile his team mates looked gutted!

All is forgiven if we make the prelims. The Cheese becomes an off season god.

He has been good but not outstanding. Need a big one from him. Been playing strong minutes and been really good with his running game. Defence has improved aswell.

17 player game mostly nowadays so all need to be on the same page.

All opposition players need to be controlled but the main dangers are Hughes . Munster and Grant - Need to minimise their impact on the game

To be fair to Smith he didn’t have a perfect start to the season injury wise which out his fitness schedule way behind. Then when he came back he was injured again and missed few games and his fitness came into question.
Recently he has been on the field for a good number of games and his fitness has picked up and is producing some of the form we expected of him.

I think his defence has been terrific in our late season charge, he is fearless and with Radley they hunt together in the middle and hit well above their weight.

Very hard to top last week's massive Heart effort. Our Backline is shredded...shredded cheese.

The Cheese looked genuinely guttered after last nights loss, There was none of that buddy buddy BS he displayed when we lost to the Storm mid season.

                              Hats off to the Cheese!
