  • Illegitimate Win

Just because Robbo won’t admit it doesn’t mean us rooster fans should accept Klein’s blatant wrong call. It wasn’t a legitimate win by storm. And we fans should never ever lie down and accept injustices such as the call by Klein. He saw it, the bunker saw the knock on, we saw it, everyone at the stadium saw it, Grant didn’t have the honesty to own up, but there wasn’t a person who didn’t see it.

Robbo didn’t want to incur a fine which is the bullying the NRL use to cover for the incompetency of their refs but we have no such restrictions so let’s get stuck into Klein not our boys. Do you think if freedom of speech was encouraged without any fines that Robbo would not get stuck into Klein? He would and we should.

Robbo saying things like we should have defended it are only as a result of intimidation of a $$fine. We were better and were the legitimate victors. In a finals game Klein’s call was inexcusable and reprehensible.

The boys put their heart and soul into it and deserved much better than that.

The last 6 again was appalling.

Sure was. Melb did the exact same thing all game and we didn’t get any 6 agains off the back of it.

A couple of other misses by Klein was the break that Cory Allen made where he ran infield and Munster came across and collected him high- Allen thought about staying down but must have remembered weak shit like that has no place in our club and he slowly got up and played the ball. There was also another tackle on Brandon Smith that had him lifted up late and he went head first (temple) into the ground-it left him shook up but he also slowly got up and played the ball.

Someone at the NRL does have to take ownership of the appointment of referees. Klein isn't a cheat but he is and has been a very ordinary referee for a long time- which also included his time in the bunker. He just isn't good at what he is payed for- yet he continually gets a top spot

Having said all that i agree with Robbo- we should have been better in defending the Seve try. There is no use in engaging in bitter banter now- its done. If you're not satisfied with the teams performance the last 7 games then you're not a Rooster supporter

It’s a terrible rule which I hate. One that gave Klein a chance to square up for his square up on ignoring the high shot that should have been penalised from Sam Walker

Bellamy knows they got lucky. He also knows that the Panthers will lap them.

I today’s game, sadly, Walker’s high shot should have been a penalty. I hate to see that the game has become like this but based on reeent history, definitely a penalty. And didn’t Harry the coward lay down for it.

IMO the body language from the Drizz was that of a defeated team for the entire last 20 minutes. They were extremely lucky to get that 6 again call, particularly so late in the count.

That said the game's 80 minutes and we made lotsa stupid mistakes at key moments.

I'm intentionally not gonna blame Wong or Pauga here. However, we defended the 6 again successfully so it didn't actually win them the game. What won them the game was Wong passing the ball into touch and Pauga being unable to defend the kick. Again I don't blame them... but it was within our control to win the game.

Just how many craft beers and limoncellos had you drank last night. We defended the mistake of our Chinese representative Wong and Paulo We got the ball kicked it downfield on the last and from there did not have the ball again after two six agains from Klein the last they scored from that next set of six
