Why do you persevere with this suggestion when it's been pointed out that Young played his junior footy in the centres. Suaalii was given an opportunity at centre and he flopped?

Suaalii at centre is like a fish out of water!

By your assumption, Sandon Smith should be a full-time NRL fullback, as he played fullback in juniors.

I can see Suaalii playing centre and Young Wing in 2024

Young needs time to learn the Roosters Way

And Young doesn't strike me as anything other than a top class winger at this level....if it ain't broke..

If there was another position I would look at playing him in, it would be full back.

His size and pace would be more than a handful to contend with. i.e., broken play running and supporting ball carriers through the middle, and any line breaks ala Tom Trbojevic.

          Young - 200 cm and 107 kg
          Trbojevic - 194 cm and 103 kg

We don't have an issue with where to play Sandon and Teddy has the fullback position locked down. Silly comparison!!!

You obviously don't get Robbo or have a feel for his thought process when it comes to selecting the team line up.

There is no way Robbo will start Suaalii at centre again. Only a fool would!

You have no balls or vision. The world is full of Mr play it safe and that's fine. I respect the role of a Storm Trooper.

I agree. But who knows. He may kill it at centre with early ball. There is no way Swarlee will be centre again after what he showed on the wing the second half of this season and what he didn’t show at centre this year. He’s leaving too so no point putting him at centre to keep him happy.

Suaalii showed absolutely nothing playing centre in attack, completely ineffective. He was a liability in defense also

Based on this I expected Robbo to start him at centre again next year and not switch him back to his best position until the season is gone

                      • Corey Allan

Sims’ decision leaves the likes of fellow former Origin players Nathan Brown, Corey Oates, Corey Allan and Aaron Woods looking to settle their futures. The Roosters were unlikely to offer Allan a new deal but a serious knee injury to boom outside back Robert Toia has opened the door for Allan to remain at the club.

                        • I started this topic to see where the team was going only for it to be hijacked by a few people that have hateful agendas , are totally chauvinistic and the really sad part is that they thinks it's funny. People like you cause other people to have mental health issues. I am glad that you want that on your resume.
Moderators do we have to put up with these fools?

Agreed. It's getting boring. I like that this forum isn't micro-managed but at the same time, a lot of this shyte (which stems from political BS most of the time) can fark off.

I have just removed all off topic posts & personal insults as I agree this thread has generated some interesting discussion points and would be a shame to see it derailed.
