  • A False Fourth?

To think if we had held on and beaten St Merge on ANZAC day we would be sitting 4th or 5th, but considering our points difference, i dont think any other team wouldve been too worried.

Souffs could be saying the same thing about round 1.

And hope it stays like this. Something about flying under the radar springs to mind.

kurt flying under the radar is one thing; but just beating lowly teams and getting smashed by the better teams is another

Let me explain it to you.

We're on the same competion points as th 4th placed team & are on the improve, but no one rates us. Thats what i mean by flying under the radar.

Why ? Are you thinking of watching Todd Carney play in another GF ?

Yes Souths have played the top 5 sides and should of beaten Broncos and us, and came close to beating Melbourne, Maguire is obviously a good coach.

As much as I hate to say this, I get a feeling we have been over achieving this year.

I think our victories in general have been a mirage over the bad position we're in, and I hope they continue. The fact is we've played many sides when they were at their weakest, and we couldn't match it with a very mediocre penrith side at home, and got thrashed by the cowboys and Storm.

The dragons match was where we really muscled up but that was because it was a large occasion and everyone played exceptionally good.

I really hope I'm wrong with saying this, but I can't see us finishing any higher than 10-12, especially after origin when some of our players may have a form slump given recent history.
