Yeah, the Wallabies are crap, but it’s not like they play every weekend. He’ll be plying his trade in the Super Rugby comp for the most part, presumably for the Waratahs. They may not be great either but they are usually competitive with the other Aus sides.

Yeah really? We didnt have Billy Smith available till round 10- we started the year with Suaalii and Hutch in the centres. Manu was injured for rounds 1,5 and 6.Momo played 1 game and got injured. At one stage when Suaalii was injured we had Hutch and Corey Allan in the centres- against Penrith! Who are the left centres you speak of???

I was the same and probably was too critical of him at the time. I was just pissed we had lost such a potentially exciting player. When moved to the wing he certainly proved he’s committed in the short term anyway.

The success of a transitional and inexperienced Wallabies side in this year's World Cup was not going to be a factor or reason for him going to play Rugby when he signed and it wouldn't be a factor now.. Even Robinson finally came around by the last round, where he had every reason to make out of the box centre choices and went with 3rd string actual centres who played great. Much better than his usual 2nd row to centre selections. Suallii was up front about his desire to play rugby. It was in every newspaper. If he's signed with Rugby there is no way he will walk away from that contract. I think he is a very good winger/fullback, not $800k though. Him walking in 2025 is not the worst outcome for us.

There are not that many active posters here in the scheme of things, and there are a good handful who would clearly be miserable no matter what they did.

On a side note...this place needs a reboot to be frank. A new redesign with new features. It's old, tired and stale. Having said that, I appreciate the work the mods/owners put in.
