So assuming Whyte is on the minimum base salary of $120k a year he would now be worth $170k a year on the open market. That's cheap for a player with so much potential!

I see a team like the Tigers, Dragons...or Knights offering $300-400k for Whyte
He has had all the raps in the lower grades much like Wong, just needs time in the NRL to develop
