  • Momirovski released

I just saw on Facebook that Paul Momirovski has been released effective immediately, apparently to join Leeds Rhinos.

It's been confirmed that Paul Momirovski has been released from the last year of his Sydney Roosters contract and has signed a 2-year deal with Super League club Leeds Rhino's

Wishing him all the best. Be interesting to see what clearing our books of such players does in practice as I'm guessing he's on close to minimum wage?

              Good bye and good luck.

Slowly but surely the dead wood is being cleared out.

I'd best change my name then. What about Pom Young?

Maybe it's best not to have a current player's name, as players fall in and out of favour on here very quickly, even in the same game.

Oh, you’re right. You posted 2 minutes ahead of me. I did look before I posted but there was nothing there so I must have been too slow typing. It was probably because I had to stop and check how to spell Momirovski correctly!

Sad to see him go, never was going to be a regular first grader here but he was a solid enough back up option with plenty of big match experience. I wonder who will replace him?

Not a big loss. I hate Ivan Cleary but huge credit to him for being able to win a comp with the so called "defensive specialist" centre in his squad. Seems a good bloke but didn't have a role for us going forward apart from cover.

Hopefully he has a solid career in England.
