So you guys are saying that because JWH hasn’t played the all stars game for a few years, he should not be considered to play again?

I love watching the Roosters playing quality teams like Souths & winning. My South’s mate who I go with to watch the Chooks v Rabbits games hates going with me because I give it to him big time
Just on Wighton, I’ve always liked him, he’s an aggressive dirty tough player & I would have been more than happy if the Chooks could have got him.
Hopefully the Chooks can rough him up & give him a welcome to a Roosters v Souths Royal Rumble.

I can’t wait for rd 1 when we get to play another quality team in the Broncos.

I think the conflict is that Wighton announced he'd retired from rep footy. However, his all start game counted.

Meh. My only grievance is that I still don't think JWH shoulda been 'charged' with anything let alone twice + binned over the same 'incident'. What am I gonna do though? I'm living in the past with that one and TBH missing Vegas probably isn't such a bad thing for JWH as the travel will probably fark with us.

Funny you mention origin, as that is a rep game that cannot be counted towards suspensions. So it wouldn’t matter if Nathan Cleary himself was suspended during origin (although they’d never do that), he couldn’t get credits for an origin game to count towards it.

I agree mate. My point was trying to show that even an older player can still come back to rep footy and just because someone hasn’t played rep for a while that they should still be considered.
