I'm a bit 50/50 on it, the positive side is that Jennings has almost 300 games in the NRL, has played for Australia and NSW, won premierships etc, that kind of experience for our younger first graders and NSW Cup teams is great to have and if he does get a run in first grade he has that experience. Also, as others have said the money is right and if he's making 50-70k a year he is almost no risk to have.
The negative side is how is his body now? 36 year old centres aren't particularly common, would he be able to handle a young superstar centre trying to carve him up if need be? Could he still be an attacking force? Is he a better option than Allan and Momirovski who he'd presumably be replacing in our depth?
He was sued for rape but from the little blurb I'm reading never charged criminally? A lot of these well known people don't actually do anything but if he was guilty of rape and all of that and it was proven not just a settlement then I'm with you that he probably shouldn't be in the NRL.
