      Woooooah hec-tiiik tat, bruh!

      ---

In all seriousness though, they'll be an interesting team to play against. I give Xerri shyte but highly rate Fabri and don't think he'd put himself out there unless he thought the guy had talent (my experience with runners who use the roids at his sorta level is that they make people's muscles bigger and stuff but don't teach you proper technique or make you 'explosive'. They provide an unfair advantage but I've copped a lot of sprays from big boys around me who walked into races thinking I'd be easy to beat, only to get their arses whooped because they're not 'runners'). Xerri looks dangerously fit for a guy who's largely been training alone and hasn't played NRL for years...

Be interesting to see what Bronson, Crichton and JAC can pull-off together as there's a lot of speed & explosive power in that backline. IMO their spine is p!ss poor and their packs nothing like the calibre that Collins, JWH, May, Wongie, Crichton, Leniu, Rads, Butch, Sitili, Whyte...etc offer. If they had just signed Luai / Hunt / Pap / Hynes...etc then I'd be saying they're dangerous. As it is though, I don't really think they have a proper spine? Hutcho (who I love and all) is arguably their strongest spine player on form :P

We won't lose him, especially to the Bulldogs. If it was Penrith chasing him I would be worried but I can't see him going anywhere else

I sure hope we can retain him and the dogs keep their filthy paws off. Maybe the delay has something to do with Angus and the fact his transfer to Rugby fell through?

Yeah the brothers seem pretty level-headed in that way ay? Rather than the whole 'we're a packaged deal' BS, they seem to encourage each other to forge their own careers.

May is an excellent example of an otherwise unwanted player who worked farking hard to earn himself Nick/Robbo's love off a train and trial.

I dunno! LODGE wants (needs) $$$ because he farked up big time and owes a lot of money. May has earned himself a solid NRL contract and I'd say will know that we're offering a pathway, not just a few extra bucks. Particularly with JWH retiring at some point and the best prop (arguably best player) in the game playing alongside him. If you play with Collins, you're going places!!! Train with Ciraldo? Yeah you might get a few extra bucks short-term, but the Bullflogz are going nowhere. May's good NOW but if he finishes bottom-4 with the Bullflogz and gets put on the field as a 'power sub' with ~10 minutes to turn around 30+ point deficits in games where his mates are regularly being put to the sword after their 1/2 time vape... he could be back fighting for a low-value contract in 1-2 years.

Keen in mind the Dogs were chasing his brother Tyrone earlier this year until he decided to stay for another year in England

If they get him or Taylan i think he goes....Terrell has said many times his dream is to play NRL with his brothers

Reports today on twitter that the Dogs were favorites to sign May as he was surplus to requirements, which I don't get

What I don't get is the stupid leg tats. There's already an increase in tattoo removal parlours. A growth industry that I shoulda pioneered...

If we lose a, pretty much home grown, ball playing prop because we bought a pseudo tough guy instead, it would be very disappointing. Having said that, if May goes to the dogs (where careers go to die) then he has probably peaked, and his heart really isn't in the game. Sign him and his 5/8 brother and we are covered for the next few years.

How is May home grown when we signed him from Penrith when he was on the verge of breaking in to their first grade team? Your takes on May and Leniu are terrible I look forward to revisiting them next year

I would be surprised if Ciraldo is still there next year, Canterbury didn’t show any improvement last year and their recruitment has been pretty lame for mine.

You make a good point about May being “home grown”. But looking forward to proving someone wrong? Really? Have you not got anything more productive to do? Is the chick soccer over?

You’re being harsh on Ciraldo. Didn’t they beat The Tigers this year? Seeing The Family Club so useless is almost as satisfying as seeing Souths continually fail.
