I was watching some matches from 2021 and he was tearing it up on the right edge.

I think the backrow will be the most competitive position if they all get back to their best.

Angus should be on the outer but if he can get back to the form he showed in the world cup, even if this is his last year at the Roosters, he will be hard to leave out.

    Anyway great news.

Probably said it already but it's great to see a long list of Easts juniors signing long-term deals ahead of the season. Hope that the certainty of it all helps with their form.

I see no point in getting all pedantic about what a 'junior' is. He played for our successful U20's Holden Cup team which has produced a generation of quality players.

The team included Manu, Radley, Nat Butcher, Sitili and others (plus coulda included more if they weren't playing 1sts).

IDK... to me 'that team' found form quicker than the current crop of Penrith players and delivered us B2B premierships. It's a point in our club's history that I think we have a right to be proud of. U20's is a 'junior' team in my books. Sorry if that's not junior enough for you. I'm personally happy we've not only debuted a bunch of these guys in 1sts, we've kept a lot of them too... in my opinion this says something about our culture!

As for your masturbation reference, I'll do so at my own discretion thank you very much. We all have urges from time to time and it's not something to be ashamed of.

Brought up in Kensington so I would say he's a South junior. I know he went to Scotts which is in the Eastern Suburbs.
If Zac Fittler makes FG also coming out of Scotts but is brought up in Terry Hills would you classify him as a junior?

Yeah, OK. I don't know what to make of it then Mickie Lane . His bio on the Roosters website refers to him as "local junior Billy Smith" and goes on to note "born and bred in the Eastern Suburbs". One of you will be right!

Hey Mickie, I consider Kensington as part of the Eastern Suburbs.

Penrith is also in the Eastern Suburbs.

Absolutely. At the end of 2020 he was close to our best forward.

Now he's lucky to be named in the 17.

Tad surprised about this signing, given the other announcements. Similar to our backs, we look 1-2 heavy certainly for 2024 and some real talent is going to be playing reserves that would be a walk up starter at plenty of other clubs. It’s does make you wonder about May, although JWH and Gus likely gone for 2025

I do get the injury narrative but players don’t wanna be standby for that.

Trent is a creative thinker and might be looking at playing an extra back or even a rotation/ rest policy given our recent years of injury - you wouldn’t blame him trying something different.
