With all that in mind, there is NO WAY Brisbane let him go TWICE. They are probably the only club that can compete with us in terms of prestige and off-field professionalism. He will be their franchise for the rest of his career in my opinion.

I don’t mind the Broncos either. They aren’t real rivals of ours. I hate our genuine rivals, the teams from Sydney who we’ve been hating for decades. Souths, Dogs, Saints etc.

He's off contract end of 2025 and would be the perfect replacement for James Tedesco. Walsh is reported to be currently on $400k a year which is criminal for a player of his calibre. I'd be offering him $1.3 million a year and the opportunity to play for competitions most professional club.

Reece Walsh was absolutely awful in the GF. He's an incredible attacking player but even more diabolical in defence than Latrell.

No doubt he's a superstar but let's hold off before anointing him as the next Billy Slater who was just as good in defence as attack. As is Tedesco.

I love Manu. I'm not questioning his character or loyalty to the club! He's a great centre! One of the best but an average FB. I'd be surprised if he's our longterm option when Teddy retires. We've signed plenty of coq heads over the years and helped them develop into better players and better human beings.

Mark Nawaqanitawase played fullback at school, could also be an option. Haven't watched him, so no idea of his skills, however rugby fullbacks normally have a pretty good passing and kicking game.
