Bulldogs have apparently ramped up negotiations & offered him a multi year deal. Let the bloke go,more interested in playing for garbage clubs with spud brothers than winning & being a better player. I seriously don’t understand garbage like that as I’d rather be anywhere than at the same club as my brothers,it’s just strange to me. Forge your own career & you also don’t have the internal issues of one getting dropped,getting the shits & causing trouble for you etc. Same reason as I’d never work any normal job with family.

Let him go… or don’t chase too hard! Compared to Lindsay or others who live and breath footy , he is playing because it’s better than construction!
Granted, he has a growth mindset in terms of pushing himself to the limit, but is footy and winning a comp with a good team his priority or playing with his brothers and earning a living.
A lot of modern players seem to just play for the paycheck which is fair, but if you had the option of a good player playing just for the coin or a good player who lives and breathes it, then you take option B! Even if player A does all the right things off the paddock… which May seems to do.

re sign with us and play for premierships and improve as a player
or take the money with the dogs or someone like that
seems he only cares about playing with his bros
he is worth $500k and your career only goes so long so should take what money is around if that’s what he wants
interesting to see if he plays much in the 17 this year if he signs elsewhere as then may use sitili, critchon or Whyte off the bench as the 2nd front row replacement to try and get more back rowers in the 17 with all the depth

I have no problem with Gus buying players & trying to get the Bulldogs back to being a force.

He improved heaps last year and losing JWH next year we need him as there aren't many gun props available.

He’s not going to go to Canterbury unless his brothers are also signed by them so at this stage I think he will either stay at the Chooks or go back to Penrith.
