hope Walker 2 is on has a go..plenty of time.God it will probably be 3 or 4 years before he gets a shot

I was thinking about Pearce at the same age, Sam is way ahead at the same time of his career and Mitch finished up having a great career.

The Walker brother live and breathe footy so I'm keen to see how the younger brother goes and how long will he stay in Queensland?

IMO Pearce without a doubt was physically tougher than Sammy at the same age
Sam is not way ahead at the same time of his career as Mitch, Pearcey was playing SOO at the age of 19, Sammy is nowhere near SOO. If DCE isnt available the next cab off the rank would be Ben Hunt or Tom Dearden

I agree that Pearce was tough when he started and did play SOO very young. But was he ready? And was there many options at the time? I felt for him playing possibly the best origin team of all time.
I guess my comparison was about how Walker could ice a game in the dying minutes. They are different halfbacks and both very good but I still think Sammy is in front after 50 games.

Agree our halves are still too small once Cordner retired Keary’s defence has been exposed

We still miss Cordner and Aubo on the edge and Friend in the middle. They made up for missed tackles by others

He's 15 fgs. What a beat up. Some already have him tapping Ted on the shoulder. Hopefully not just another fizzer to join the long list of next big things.

Thats why I’d prefer someone like NatButch in the second row partnered alongside Walker. Sitili and Walker are a recipe for disaster.
