They mightn't last in the pub...but like most areas they are there. Currently on a temporary appointment at work and unfortunately had to do a home visit there recently

Trust me though, the Hunter Region is Pedo Central!!! The Child Protection Register map lights up like a Christmas Tree up there !!

It's not a case of it not working as they have made the finals .

No teams style of football has been a match for Penrith's these past 4 seasons. Penrith is a team known for their high set completion/high possession percentage, low errors and penalties, and set restarts conceded. They have consistently played 80 minutes each week.

How many 80-minute performances did the Roosters put in for season 2024? 40 or 60 minute performances seemed to be the average in games, with periods of them clocking off.

That's what separates Penrith and Storm from the rest—that 80-minute game—Penrith do it better than anyone else.

The Roosters have to work on being a high-set completion, low errors and penalties, and set restarts conceded team and be able to do this over 80 minutes each week as well if they hope to complete for another premiership.

Roosters - need to improve in the following areas

        2024

        Errors - 4th
        Handing Errors - 2nd
        Penalties Conceded - 1st
        Missed Tackles - 5th

        2023

        Errors - 3rd
        Handling Errors - 6th
        Penalties Conceded - 2nd
        Missed Tackles - 6th

Set Completions - usually at the bottom or near bottom in this stat - need to keep improving

        2024 - 80% - 5th

        2023 - 75% - 17th

Possession % - better than 50% possession % is required

        2024 - 50% - 8th

        2023 - 48% - 17th

A dirty nose would hold better resale value.

BTW is the correct terminology being used here? I suspect that what's happening is...

            - Steggles will remain as the major partner. The charity nest...etc will all continue.

            - Hyundai will be replaced by BYD as a platinum partner, consistent with current practice of rotating through various car companies (noting that Eagers owns a 49% stake in BYD's Australian operations, so there could be some sorta overlap there).

Nope, from what I understand BYD will be front of jersey sponsor. Steggles will not be a sponsor or partner.

The new lower back jersey sponsor (replacing Hyundai) has not been identified.

Why would we pick some dodgy Chinese company to be our major sponsor. What were they thinking What next? Kim Jong Un As a sponsor on the back of our jumper jeez

You are taking the pyss right?

It’s obvious why they’ve picked up BYD. It’s very smart business for Nick in more ways than one. That doesent change the fact the brand is shyt and imo, cheapens our image.

Like Thirteen, I won’t be buying a jersey while they are plastered accross it.

I think you misunderstood me. I’ll definitely be buying the new jersey. I hadn’t heard of them until my friend told me weeks ago they were our new sponsor. If they are willing to invest lots of money in us I’ll support them. I won’t buy their car but I’ll proudly wear our jersey with their name on it. I’ll be getting the traditional and white jersey as soon as they are available. With 13 on the back of course.

My bad mate. I thought I had read your comments elsewhere that it wasn’t for you.

Im standing by my decision however.

Let’s not forget the Faiders pulled their major sponsor from their jerseys a few years ago. Another Chinese spy product.

Some BYD analysis. Looks like Nick backed a winner.
