The turning point was when Lyons was given his game instructions last Tuesday...

Yep, when I saw that I knew there would be a thread about it on here. Either he didnt hear the call of six again or he was just plain desperate/stupid. That was no were near a play for a supposed origin halfback.

It wasn't a pass it was knocked out of his hand. Yes he had it available for a pass and that gave the Warriors captain the opportunity

It was not a head clash at all Mini's head smashed into the ground and that is what knocked him out. You people should watch the game and not listen to half baked comentators.

I think that mistake by Mitch was a dumb one for sure but I wouldn't blame him for losing us the match. He was our main creative spark who really kept us in the game. The same could not be said of the number 6. I fear for next week because despite Manly being minus 5 SOO players they will more than likely still have Foran and DCE and we'll ne left with Anasta to spark and organise our attack.

Sorry, the wind just blew out any chance Braith had of lighting the fire :/

Nobody is blaming him for losing us the match, we are just saying it was a turning point. Much like acontentious penalty can be a turning point in a game, its not necessarily the play that cost a team a win, but its a play which signifies a momentum shift in the game. The Warriors were good enough to take advantage of the mistake which was further compounded by a ruck penatly a couple of plays later.

Sorry Eagle Eyes....I saw the incident once and thought I saw a head clash, obviously I was wrong.

Sure I agree with that. I was absolutely screaming at the TV when he threw the ball away on the zero tackle as he blew a fantastic opportunity with dumb, panick play. I also thought however that several dubious refereeing decisions were more defining turning points.

Turning point is this the dick heads who missed the tackles like Shaun Johnson try that was appalling defence.
Two things are infinite: the universe and human stupidity; and I'm not sure about the universe

The turning point was in our defence we were a hell of a lot on top of them and gave them to very soft tries .
Defence wins games end of story we had lapses .
Yeah, really enjoyed Braith waving to Hurrell as he ran by.
