It's like the preparations you do for a divorce.

That probably hurt his already depressed at being unwanted mind even further.
    Cruel game is pro footy.

The club could've at least waited until the end of the season, or until he'd been dropped from the first grade team.
    It doesn't sponsor harmony.

He was chosen as the captain to lead us out of the gutter...with the "New attitude-New beginning" policy...and a new major sponsor was found.

Then Smith was hired as coach, for much the same reason...and because of his work with young players at the Knights, shown on tv, including "respect for women" and "how to be a fine man" [or the like] programs.

      Working well that strategy.

Expecting Anasta to be Fittler on the field is 'crazy'.

If Pearce hadn't thrown that dumb pass to Aubusson in the first half and coughed up possession, the Warriors wouldn't have scored from the next set.
The reason for this is 100% down to Mini, Steggles approached him to be his personal sponsor, and him being the club legend he is helped to get them onboard as club sponsor. Anasta had nothing to do with this at all.

Anasta is a disgrace, he has shown himself to be heartless, spineless and extermely self centred, and the sooner this cancer is cut from our club the better. At least pick someone at 6 who is going to have a dig, I mean could Khierella or Mortimer be any worse than the fraud that is currently there.

Agreed Braith knows hes holding us back and may cost us a finals berth but hes comfortable at 5/8 snd is too stubborn to move Smirh is incompetent and thinks that Braith will click sometime Morts is better and Smith knows it but even if theres a 5% chance Braith will take us to finals Smith will take it. Idiot drop him now before its too late!!!!!

No. Time to try other things, however Smith won't change anything. You can't teach an old dog new tricks.

Only if he moves to second row and rolls his sleeves up, if he is not prepared to do that i see no spot for him

Again, I will offer my observations. As a person who has done a fair bit of Braith bashing I can only look at the current position we are in philosophically.
              1. With SOO approaching JnrJnr has stepped his game up a lot and is taking much more overall irresponsibility. That's a good thing. Braith, to a large extent has kept out of his way and that is a good thing too.
              2. I thought the game last night was his best of the season... and it was a shocker.
              3. His form has been consistent... thats a bad thing.
              4. I can only offer that the game has changed in the last couple of years and it no longer suits his skill set (whatever that may be)
              5. He is not leading. JWH, JnrJnr, Mini, Jake are all putting in 100% and are currently stronger leaders in the eyes of other players.

Should he be playing FG? Yes but not for the RWB.

He needs the tap on the shoulder now and I really don't care who he is replaced by. Any of our fringe first graders from props to FB's would do a better job at 5/8th because they would make the effort. Yes, they will make mistakes but they will try and fight for the opportunity that he takes for granted.

We are a chance of making the 8 this year which would be great experience for our young players but he will stop this from happening.

People making the choices please grow a set and grow them quickly.

Its cause Anasta is useless I reckon Morts offers more in attack and can back up a break.Anasta can't even make simple tackles anymore and defense was always his strength I think the game has passed him 13.

No the game had passed him by he's no more than a passenger these days any good attacking raids are when Pearcey is running the show and cutting Anasta out of the play. Please Sheens take him off our hands now.

He was bought here to do a job which he did not do.

Whether he is a nice bloke or a good leader is highly debatable and honestly IMO worthless.

There are plenty of good leaders in our pack who give it 100% week in week out regardless of their skill level.

Aubo, kennedy, Pearce, JWH, and even Mini, all give 100% every week. Even when mini was out of sorts earlier this year I did not hate him like I currently hate Banasta, simply because it was evident he was and still is trying.

Regardless of the tripe published in the media, I can't help but feel that at the end of last year, uncle Nick had the feeling that Bwaif would no longer be a part of our team. This is why we went after Baloney. Had Banasta been a decent player he may had played into his early-mid 30's at our club.

If the roosters board give a crap about this year then they need to at least find a part time solution in Mortimer or Kheirallah.Leaving Braith there is like Sweeping the dust under your rug and saying "I'll clean it up next year". It was a bad decision to sign him in the first place as when we signed him he had a bad groin injury from memory in 2005.

Even if we have to pay our the rest of his contract, give him to the tigpies and rid us of his 1 metre per game.

Maybe if we all chipped in, we can hire a private investigator to find out what he is doing in the games when he is not making his 1 metre.

Smith needs to sit down with Braith and say..

"Look I understand that your injury is holding you back, and you really need to look after your (leg/back/foot/elbow/neck/groin/fingernail/or whatever you would like to insert here), we are going to let you rest for the next couple of weeks"...

Said injury never recovers, next game he plays is with the Tigers..

Smith could always say "Anasta should be back in two weeks"...

John Ibrahim seems to be having an increased presence lately.. If I was Nick, I would invite him to join the Chairman's club.. However entry would have to be earned.. nudge nudge, wink wink.

If Ibrahim makes Banasta disappear, releases the video of Martha off Home and Away and Mark Judge and then starts handing out a seasons supply with every season ticket then he is a shoo in to replace Uncle Nick
