  • Gosford Trial v Manly Feb 17 2024

Will any of our first grade players be playing in this trial?

All I'm reading about is how they're going to Vegas via LA, flying in a Dreamliner jet.

The Gosford game tickets are not cheap.

This is the only full speed hit out for the first grade squad before they leave for Vegas so would expect to see a lot of them play even if its only a half.

The following weeks trial against the Vermin will be all youngsters and reserve graders as the top squad will all be in Vegas.

            How much are tickets.

I asked my Manly supporting brother if he wanted to go and he said not worth the money as he read a few of Manly bigger name players aren't playing after playing a trial against St George a few weeks ago.
Didn't know that there had been any trials this year but he said 100% they had a game.

I don't mind going to trials and fully expect a few players to only play part of the game if any minutes at all but the ticket price should reflect this.

It was like a closed doors trial

                1 guess each

Who won the yo-yo test for backs and forwards?

I will let you know who is correct

Is Connor Watson considered a back or forward?

I reckon Radley for the forwards.

                      Sammy Walker for the backs
                      Brandon Smith for the forwards

The back is a regular, think outside the box a little with the forwards

why would the NRL even charge you to go watch a trial?

unless it’s a gold coin donation, then the NRL is really showing that it’s got no care for the fans at all.

                              Nope
Maybe a bit misleading but he is in our top 30
Not sure why but the back surprised me a little
