Looks like he has bulked up a fair bit. Interested to see how he performs this season. Could be a make or break year for him.

He looks farrkin huge. Good I guess but maybe it means any chance he had of playing is 80 is gone and we will be using Sandon a lot more.

Good to see him serious for a change. When he's locked in, he's a tough bastard and a ferocious competitor.

I must admit, I didn't realise his service was so shithouse.

I do really like him as a player but maybe a middle forward interchange player is his gonas others said. Runs powerfully and super quick play the balls

Do you guys think Moriarty is first grade material?

Think the extra weight is muscle.
He'll have a better season this year, now that he's settled into the ways the Roosters do things.

I'm with you, can't see any difference from last year to be honest

I was saying his service was shit house before we signed him, certainly nowhere near as slick as Verrills

He’s very good at times but currently I’d rate him a 7/10 and Verrills 8/10. We seemed to play better as a team with Verrills but this year if he doesn’t excel then it will be another dud we bought like Crichton. Was great with the storm but hasn’t exactly set the world on fire at the roosters. He gets lazy sometimes as well.

Yes Tyler is NRL material - Has come through the same pathways as Sandon Smith - Central Coast Roosters Junior Reps to Sydney Roosters Junior reps then onto Senior Reps

Have a few other dummy halves in the system as well - Benaiah Loelu - He's been training with the NRL squad - plus Jake Elliot and Jaxson Allen in SG Ball.

If you rate Smith's service as a 7 then I'd have to rate Verrills at least 8.5 in comparison. Verrills service is really slick, our attack looked better when he had prolonged runs in 1st grade. Problem with Smiths poor service is that it has a multiplier effect because forwards running onto his passes cannot run full steam with confidence cause they don't know where t6hey are going to catch the ball. It could high, low, behind or in the bread basket.

Who is the "new strength and conditioning coach" he says is one of the best coaches he's ever had?
