We are always much wiser with hindsight (and I have got it wrong plenty of times ), but I can say hand on heart that I picked him as being a champion right at the start of his FG journey and he certainly hasn't let me down and keeps getting better. I hope he becomes a lifetime Rooster as apart from being a super talented prop, he also seems like a very humble and down to earth guy.

Sign Taylan to replace Manu if possible. That way we get a decent centre and a fantastic young prop. Only issue is that I think Taylan plays on the left.

In this scenario then we can lose Terrell May and develop another prop forward you can't start using salary cap space and squad spots to sign players just to keep another player in the team thats what teams like Canterbury do and it hasn't ever worked.

Even without Manu we have Smith, Toia & Dom Young who wants a chance to play centre. I don’t think we need to rush into buying another centre.

Too much emphasis is being put on the May family playing as a group. I know Terrell said it would be his first preference to play at any club with both of his brothers, but realistically who is going to buy all 3? If playing with just one brother was all important, Terrell wouldn’t have left Penrith.

If Taylan May continues to perform the way he did in Round 1 at centre then I’d argue we should be looking at him regardless of his brother.

This just happens to be a convenient two birds, one stone situation.
