with 1 in the bag and a very good performance 2 from 4 would be a slight disappointment for mine. will be interesting to see if going on tour gives momentum to the touring teams. nrl did well to have them all playing each other in the first three rounds so there are no advantages/disadvantages but maybe it gives us a head start v panthers and bulldogs

Luke Brooks looked very good too this could be a dangerous halves combination with the pressure taken right off Brooks playing second to DCE this is the game I worry about the most in our first 5

I think Manly will be very good this season. Penriff is Penriff. So I'd take 3 from 5. The performance against the Riff should be good though, we have been pathetic against them for large parts of their little dynasty run they've been on. Haven't looked anywhere near them the last couple of games we've played. Even if we lose to them in a few weeks, if we can show some level of quality and resolve against them I'll be happy.

Can't lose to Souffs under any circumstances regardless of form. Dogs will not be a Top 8 side in my opinion so we should be dispatching them quite easily aswell.

Three wins is what I was expecting and if it was 2 then I would be slightly concerned but that has turned into more of a concern after going down to Manly and especially the dogs.
I'm feel we will do our usual run home in the second half of the season and be well in the top 8 at seasons end.
