No doubt they will, but are you willing to concede that you're you the twat and the sicko?

Alternatively, an apology will be accepted.

1986: 2 tries vs Illawarra, 1 try vs Balmain, 2 tries vs Norths.

not saying 2 from 5 isn't an accurate reflection of the way we've played but with a bit of luck we could have been 5 from 5. in two of our losses it came down to goal kicking and in the other we lost by a try. we won our two games convincingly. it's a long season and time will tell what happens but all is not lost

So we’ve come to round 5 with a 2-3 record.

where will we be after rd 10?

          knights(a) storm(h) dragons(a) Brisbane(a) warriors(h)

injuries are now playing there part, realistically I’m looking at 1 win, hoping for 2, which could leave us at 4-6.

I think 2 wins is about what we can expect (hope for) in the next 5 matches.

I think you mean if there wasn't a blatant bias against the Roosters by officialdom, we might be 5 from 5, though that would require a huge amount of luck!!!

Very strange start to the season, and that doesn't just apply to us.
I think how well we do over the next 5 games might be quite impacted by what lessons we took out of the Bulldogs loss.

Hopefully, we can pick off the Knights even when we're understrength. I think they're a decent team without being anything too special.
We then likely have Teddy and Walker back against the Storm, and play them in Sydney, which seems winnable.
Dragons certainly winnable, and then the Broncos away will be very tough and they probably have Walsh back at that point? And then the Warriors will also be tough.

It has been a pretty indifferent start, but to the Roosters credit, over the last few years we tend to play better with players out and our backs against the wall. As soon as people write us off, we start winning.

I thought with 3 we'd be flying as I said. I think we were very good against the Broncs on a field that suited us and the Souths formline is proving suspect. We were very very poor in all out losses. I think we're a 5th - 8th team this season...hopefully I'm wrong

Jeez there are some negative nellies around thinking we can only win one or two of the next 5. All 5 are winnable. The injuries aren’t that bad assuming Teddy and Walker only miss a game. I’ll say we’ll win 3 of the 5. Stretch target of 4.

Overall I would have liked 4 wins with a loss to Penrith acceptable.

haha, there's been a few dodgy rulings, no doubt

Most of them are happier when we lose so that they can criticise the team

A 7, 6, and 4-point loss isn't as bad as some might think. Manly have a very good side, as, of course, does Penrith. The Dogs game was one they should have banked a W in.
