Told ya all that the Drongos were over-rated. I was happy with our form but IMO we weren't THAT good. Drongos were regularly caught-out on the last tackle without really having a plan (other than 'where's our free line-break?!?!?)

Fitness of the team looked top notch at the trial and did again today.

Tedesco back to his best, awesome awesome performance from the captain.

Great win by the boys led by Teddy, Rads and Joey we didn't have a bad player. That was our first win against a top line side for awhile and the intensity in defence was the most pleasing aspect for me.
Lindsay was massive upfront and Lenius leg drive and quick play the ball is really going to open the cheese up.
Can't believe a black fella complained about a black fella calling him a black fella....pretty soft booris.

yeah, very solid esp for a first game. lot to like. we completed at a high level and defended well and that's a good way to win footy games even against a team that can pull rabbits out of the hat.
don't know how walsh wasn't given 10 minutes for stopping a try with an illegal tackle but they unluckily lost pakiura.
in the same way that losing the first game doesn't mean your season is over, winning it doesn't mean you're set but a win is always better than a loss

Not sure what game you were watching but Tedesco looked a yard or two quicker than last year. Be up there for player of the match.

IMO it was a massive difference and he pulled off a stack of crucial, momentum-swinging plays. Teddy was the sensei and Walsh was the teeny grasshopper... time to get back to waxing old mate's car, ya coke-snorting rookie of the year.

Solid effort! Still early days but IMO with Keary/Walker/Sandon/Brandon clicking better what we're seeing is that suddenly Teddy, Manu and Sua'ali'i look like gold. Maybe... just maybe they were getting bullshyte service last year?

Early days but IMO lotsa great vibes to build upon (noting, I don't think Brisbane are top-4 material this year so there will be surprises against other random sides... Brissy aren't the standard to beat).
