Did you see Latrell on the news grabs from the Airport today?
He is farkin kidding...sets himself up as the moral gusrdian of the NRL and weighs in where we isn't needed.
I want to like this bloke, but he is really so far out of touch with the real world its not funny. Its the 21st century mate, we've all trod tough paths and you, my friend, are right now more privileged than most. Wipe the chips from your shoulder and maybe show a bit of humility and appreciation.
FFS.

If Latrell really gave a stuff about what Leniu allegedly said then why isn’t he suggesting an Indigenous culture awareness program or some type of community work for him. Instead he’s prejudicing a judiciary hearing by screaming for a penalty which just happens to benefit his team and puts a club he clearly now detests at a distinct disadvantage. This is starting to feel more like a get square with our club and yet another opportunity for Latrell to put Latrell in the limelight……and Instagram likes.

Daily Telegraph online now:
"Spencer Leniu's family the victim of racist attacks by online trolls"
This masthead has seen the vile comments, which have been passed on to the NRL.
The disgusting abuse has emerged as the NRL urged players to tone down their public commentary on the incident, which has been referred to the judiciary without a grading.
While the NRL has no issue with players voicing their support for Mam, they are concerned at comments from players in relation to Leniu's guilt or innocence, as well as the length of any potential ban.
Under NRL rules players and officials are forbidden from commenting on incidents before the judiciary
The NRL rarely enforces the rule but there is a genuine concern that the commentary around Leniu's clash with Man has the potential to taint his hearing.
His hearing has already been tainted, many people could believe.
This could be the first thing his lawyers say at his 'trial'(judge, jury, verdict).
Have the commenting players who broke the NRL rules been cited yet?
Has the NRL, that's on record as saying it's going to stamp out racism...referred the racist attacks/vile comments/disgusting abuse to the police yet?

Just wondering... is calling sometime a black k...aren, more racist than a white one? What about just plain old Karen... will s/he be offended not being attributed a colour description?... if indeed the remark was uttered on the field of sport... then imo it was stupid more than racist... since he was so offended & felt really strongly about it, I would of respected his stance, if he put one on Spence's chin... but I guess he chose to let the nrl/media fight the battle for him.
There's talk there was some racial slurring in last year's gf from the new human rights champion, Mam, toward the Polynesian boys in the Riff... like I said, it should of been sorted there on the field...funnily, I guess it was... Penrith won!

It makes me think that Latrell has now got a ready made platform where he can have a big influence on social discourse. He could choose to use it wisely and discerningly, or just keep pushing his own personal barrows.

Will be interesting to see how this is handled by the Roosters.
