It would be a way to gauge if the NRL are trying to make a stand of its own, or if racism is recognised equally across Australian sport.

I’m not sure what goes into the thought process of choosing the sentence of banning a player for 1 week, 8 weeks or the season, is it the severity of the word,context or nature of how it was said(if said)

but for those calling for 12 weeks, what is to be achieved in those 12weeks that can’t be achieved in 1,2 or 3 weeks?

I think some people think that by calling for a long sentence, it makes them look like a holier than thou upstanding anti racist citizen
